1. Introduction
Welcome to Locationer, owned and operated by 19 BIT FZC LLC, UAE. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a transparent user experience regarding your data.
2. Information We Collect & How We Use It
- Precise Location Data: We access your device's precise location (GPS) only while the app is in the foreground to facilitate sharing your position via WhatsApp. We do not collect, track, or monitor your location in the background.
- Account & Sync Data: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email and name. Your saved locations (geographic coordinates) are stored securely in Google Firebase for cross-device synchronization.
- Third-Party Integration (WhatsApp): Recipient phone numbers are processed locally via Android System Intents. This data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising
- Analytics: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect non-identifying information (e.g., app crashes, session duration) to improve performance.
- Advertising (Free Tier): We use Google AdMob to show ads to Free Tier users. AdMob may use device identifiers (AAID) for ad personalization.
- Paid Tier Privacy: Subscribed users have all advertising SDKs disabled; no data is shared with ad partners.
4. Data Retention & Deletion (Google Play Compliance)
We retain your data only as long as your account is active.
- Self-Service Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all synced data via the "Delete Account" button in the App Settings.
- Manual Request: You may also request data erasure by emailing 19bit.team@gmail.com.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures (SSL/TLS encryption) to protect your data during transmission and storage within Google Firebase.
6. Children's Privacy
Locationer is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
